The act of finding an indian grocery store is not that difficult as you can always search for "Indian Grocery" in Google and get the list. The 'not so easy task' is to know which one of them is the most popular one so that you can get most of the items you need. Also, you want to get only items that are 'not too close' their expiry date as most stores buy huge stock and replenish only after it is sold. My experience so far is that the timings of the store are important, specially the differences in the store hours over the week and the weekend. There were numerous instances where I go to the store to find it closed either because it is a Monday/Tuesday (non store hour day) or I am 10 min past the store closing time. It is pretty frustrating if you drive for 30 miles leaving early from work, only to end up with nothing. So, here I am trying to make a reference handbook of all Indian stores that are popular in the corresponding area, to make it easier for myself and for others in that area.
