iPod is so popular now, that it cannot be placed under the 'MP3 Players list' alone. It almost has become an indispensable object in a music lover's life. The thing that started with a bulky 'spinning magnetic disk' has evolved into a cool & sleek "iPod Touch" now. And, what makes it a success? In one statement, its simple, elegant and intuitive handling is what keeps it apart and up there.

And the way I am, the first week I got it, I tried to get the most out of it. So, it involved more than listening to songs and here I am trying to list everything that's related to iPod which will increase your productivity using an iPod.

I wonder if anything ever is going to be perfect because with iPod comes the troublesome fact that you cannot copy the songs back. If you have a 80GB iPod and say you have that much data to store on it, Apple wants you to store all of that on your PC, so that you can sync it up (unless you trust your iPod a lot and choose the option to put everything on your iPod). So, in my view that is just inefficient use of priceless memory. And once you get your song onto the iPod, it is in a black hole..you either keep it in there or lose it. You cannot copy it back unless you have a copy on your machine.

But still, we do have a way to get around that. Use Sharepod and you should be good to go.
