The websites listed below are the ones, most of which, I keep visiting every year for Thanksgiving deals. These constitute my 'Black Friday List' and like every year, I wish that these will continue helping me out in grabbing the best available deals. Buying a flashdrive or a portable MP3 player is going to be the easiest of all. So, as long as you are willing to drive away the morning blues, you too can get the most out of this 'After Thanksgiving day' sales. Now, there is really no point if I start compiling another huge list of deals and their prices when these websites are so good at it. This section of DiscComm is going to serve as a "real good launchpad" for your holiday shopping, letting you know the available options for finding the best online/in-store deals. Just a note though that this time, the sales pale in comparison to all the previous years.
http://bfads.net has also registered various other domain names like blackfridayhome.com, spoofriday.com,beatthecrowd.net etc . Any or all of these websites will take you to the same bfads.net, though the url looks different. If you happen to know of any website that should be in the above list, please post it here. Also, dealspl.us has its own website for blackfriday this time at www.blackfriday.fm.
If you are looking for today's deals: Check them out on Deal Treasure or from other deal sites listed on Best Deal Sites list
Blackfriday is one of the biggest sale events in the United States. A lot of products that don't get sold any other time of the year, will be sold at this time. Going with the tradition of Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, stores would list the items on sale the previous night and put up some real great deals. Now, these deals are different from the ones you typically see. You will not get the laptop you get for $1500 on this day for $500, but instead the models on sale here are the items an average laptop user would find interesting. There would be promotions on the latest models but those that make a great deal are a combination of the price, discounts, coupons and your timing into the store/online. For example, bestbuy and walmart typically have a laptop priced under $500, which would most likely be equipped with a Celeron or a Dual-Core or Core Solo processors now, which does not appeal to most techie guys. There might be at max 10 pieces per store and you have to be really lucky (not early) to get them...because the fellow infront of you, might buy all of them, if he brings all of his family along. There is a one per head policy but it hardly works that way. The ads from the various retailers, typically are leaked out and are available online, well ahead. There are quite a few websites as you can see from the list above, showing you the actual adscans of these stores. These websites should give you an option to nail down the store that you want to be at, on the Black Friday.
Also, be aware that you typically cannot visit more than 3 stores in the morning, because of the non-scalable billing systems in place for such a huge sale event. The queues to pay your bill are so long that it takes anywhere between 1 to 2 hours to get out of a store. So, choose the store where you will get most of your items from and distribute your wishlist with a friend for grabbing items from another store at the same time.
