Unlock your Cell Phone (Mobile Phone)

Unlock the phone: It has been two hours now and I unlocked it. Here is the procedure to follow:
1. The default SIM password for SGH-D807 is 8 Zeroes,00000000.
Goto SETTINGS->SECURITY->SIM LOCK and select DISABLE before proceeding with the steps below.
2. Put an OLD/Another Provider's SIM Card. Luckily I had an old SIM card that is different from the Service the phone is locked into. So, I popped in that SIM card. A message saying 'Incorrect Card' comes up as soon as the phone is switched on.
2. Type in *#9998*3323#.
A screen showing Exit will appear. Press the Right Softkey corresponding to Exit.This will give you a MENU.
Select Option 6 ,'Malloc Fail' in this MENU. This will reboot the phone and give you the initial screen.
Type *0141# and press the green call key(Left Bottom Key). A message saying "Personalized" will appear. Switch the phone off and put the original SIM back and turn it on. It will prompt for a password. When you unlock the phone, SIM LOCK automatically turns itself ON.
Type 8 zeros (00000000). This is the reason why Step 1 is necessary.
The phone is now unlocked and your phone is no longer a bonded slave for that SIM owning company..
Well...What will you do if you don't have a used SIM/another SIM? Wait for one of your friends who use a GSM based mobile service different from yours or search on the internet to find another website ;-). Don't worry, if I find it, I'll post it here.
